1. The Pilgrims Inn

The Inn is equipped with twenty-one (21) individual rooms with toilet & bath facilities. It is a fitting lodging facility for small groups attending retreats and other spiritual activities. Pilgrims coming from far away places and would wish to spend the night to rest before the travel back home will find the rooms cozy and comfortable to stay.

The Pilgrims Inn, to meet the accommodation requirements of bigger groups can avail of the three dormitories which has total bedding capacity of 250 pilgrims. Ideal for students and other religious associations intending to attend retreats and conferences, the conference hall is equipped with public address systems and other audio visual equipments. For smaller groups which conduct varied activities, the multi-purpose hall is available. It can be used as function room or for small group conferences.

The Pilgrims Inn has a dining hall that provide the venue for all kinds of receptions and banquet affairs for moderate number of people. To accommodate those requiring some 200 people for dining purposes, the conference hall can easily be converted into a large dining hall. Meals to be served can be arranged with the Basilica staff. For catering purposes to groups who occupy the conference facilities over a period where it is necessary to serve meals and snacks planned meals and snacks can be arranged with the Basilica personnel.

In the Inn is a small Chapel where one can spend moments for prayer and meditation and the atmosphere is conducive to a private moment with God. Certain religious activities may be conducted in the chapel, such as the recitation of the Rosary or other forms of Novena prayers.

2. The Retreat Center

The Retreat Center is the Pilgrims Inn complex itself when used in conjunction with the church. In the retreat activities, the devotional and spiritual worships may also be conducted in the Church depending on its availability. The Basilica plays the role as the center of evangelization. Towards this end, series of recollections and retreats can be arranged at the Retreat Center's office. It is the intention of the retreat center to endeavor to foster in our laity through its programs authentic Marian spirituality that is thoroughly Christocentric and ecclesiological.

Through the programs conducted in the retreat center it is hoped that our laity will be able to develop their capability to be leaders in the transformation of their dioceses and parishes through active participation in the life of the Church. One such program is the Basic Ecclesial Communities, which program will be discussed under a separate cover.

In order to facilitate arrangements for use of the retreat center you may contact you parish priests who will be provided information leaflets on the use of the retreat house and other Basilica facilities. As we foresee an increasing demand for the use of the retreat house for recollection and other spiritual and devotional activities we encourage an early arrangement for the use of the Basilica facilities in order that schedules may be negotiated and reservations be made on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Resource persons / retreat masters and other laity personnel will be available to assist your organization. Our resource persons have their own expertise in discussing certain subjects. The appropriate retreat resource person and or retreat master will be selected or recommended based on the topics you want incorporated in your retreat package of sermons or homilies. Should you wish to bring along with you your retreat resources or retreat master you are perfectly free to do so. Our staff will assist you in the administrative aspects of the retreat activities while you are in Retreat Center.

3. The Basilica Proper

Archbishop Diosdado Talamayan describes the Basilica of Our Lady of Piat as the Monument of Faith of the devotees of Our Lady of Piat. Every brick and mortar are silent but eloquently imposing testimony of the fervent love and devotion to Mary and her Son Jesus that has translated into the generous financial assistance from the donations and love offerings of thousands of devotees of Our Lady of Piat. Truly, the Basilica is built on the bedrock of the faith and love of the true Church, the People of God on the powerful Our Lady of Piat for her people. Financial assistance from foreign funding agencies was not needed.

A unique and vividly visible feature of the Basilica are the twelve stained glass windows that portray beautifully the history of Our Lady of Piat. A picture and short caption of each stained glass can be viewed as you over the icons of the home page of the Web site.

4. Shrine and Gift Shop

Our Lady of Piat Shrine Gift Shop and Bookstore is conveniently located on the sacred grounds of the National Shrine and Basilica of Our Lady of Piat, at Piat Centro, Cagayan. As a vital part of the Shrine ministry, our gift shop is open seven days a week all year round. It features a wide variety of religious articles of every kind for all occasions at very affordable prices. When you visit our beautiful Shrine, we invite you to shop in our gift shop.
